Consequence of Sound is seeking a social media intern with a passion for music, film and pop culture for the Fall 2016 term. All candidates must be available to work at least 20 hours per week, and have proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and Tumblr, among other social media platforms.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
— Assist in copywriting, sourcing images/GIFs/videos for posts on Facebook (CoS main and Film accounts) and Twitter
— Manage and develop strategies for CoS Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Snapchat
— Potential to provide assistance for live social media coverage during events
— Support monthly reporting and data analysis across channels
— Research noteworthy historical moments, anniversaries, birthdays
— Actively monitor social media (Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc.) for content to share on our channels
— Research emerging platforms for CoS to potentially get involved in
— Competitor analysis
Candidates should have the ability to earn school credit.
