Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son recreates Terminator 2, proves he’s “Bad to the Bone” — watch

The Governator would likely approve of this remake

It doesn’t take a genealogist to know that Joseph Baena is related to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Even the Muscle Man himself figured it out over the years, when he slowly discovered he was, indeed, Baena’s father, thanks to a former affair he had with his former housekeeper Mildred Baena. You remember that controversy, right?

Well, now Joseph’s all grown up and he’s really into leather, specifically of the cyborg kind. Recently, the kid tagged alongside aspiring filmmaker Ben Hess as part of Film Riot’s Monday Challenge to recreate the T-800’s infamous opening scene in James Cameron’s blockbuster sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Watch above. Fun fact: The film celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, which we chronicled back in July, debating whether it’s better than the 1984 original. This writer would argue for the tense horror of the predecessor and the inclusion of Michael Biehn’s triumphant hero, Kyle Reese. Agree or disagree at your leisure.
