De La Soul Estelle

We know how much Jimmy Fallon just loves classic hip-hop thanks to his ongoing History of Rap segment with heterosexual life mate Justin Timberlake. So it’s really no surprise that one of the most classic rap groups of all, De La Soul, wound up on The Tonight Show for their first late night performance behind their latest LP, and the Anonymous Nobody…

The trio of Posdnuos, Dave and Maseo made the night all the more special by bringing along Estelle to run through “Memory Of … (US)”. They were also accompanied by The Roots and a string section.

Though Anonymous Nobody may be their first album in 12 years, they proved that they haven’t degraded even a bit as performers, as you can see for yourself up above.
