The school yard brawl: A classic trope in cinema as much as in real life. Usually, it’s one big bully challenging a meeker classmate to, I don’t know, prove his value or something. But in the new comedy Fist Fight, it’s the teachers that duke it out.

The movie sees one Mr. Campbell (Charlie Day) coming into conflict with co-worker Mr. Strickland (Ice Cube). When the former gets the latter fired, there’s only one thing he can do to retaliate: challenge him to an old school parking lot duel. The only problem is Campbell doesn’t know a thing about fisticuffs, so he enlists the aid of his fellow school personnel played by Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell, and Kumail Nanjiani. Christina Hendricks is also in the mix, though from the above trailer, she seems to be on Team Cube.

Fist Fight marks director Richie Keen’s big screen debut, but he’s working with Day numerous times before on Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The film hits theaters on February 17th, and you can check out the first trailer above.
