Kings of Leon appeared on Jools Holland earlier this month to preview new material from their forthcoming record, Walls. One track they debuted was “Around the World”, which they’ve now released as a proper studio single.

The track is the most beach-y the Nashville rockers have ever sounded, full of jangly guitar and four-on-the-floor percussion. As bouncy as the tropical tune is, there’s still a good hint of KoL’s twangy roots in the guitar solos. “The stormy gates and the maiden Pearl,” Caleb Followill sings out on the chorus. “All around the world, all around the world/ I lost myself and found a girl.”

Take a listen above. Due out October 14th through RCA, Walls has also been previewed with the lead single “Waste a Moment” and a performance of the title track on Holland.
