Lady Gaga delivered memorable performances at the Academy Awards and Grammys, and, along with Beyoncé, nearly upstaged Coldplay at last year’s Super Bowl. What huge public stage awaits her next? According to Billboard, the pop star may headline her own Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Sources close to the publication say that Gaga is currently “in talks” for the 51st annual football event; it would mark her first-ever Super Bowl Halftime Show. With Adele no longer a contender, and with Gaga’s as-yet-untitled album featuring Josh Homme, Beck, Florence Welch, Mark Ronson, and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker due out before year’s end, it looks like the “Perfect Illusion” singer might be the best candidate yet for the high-profile performance.
