    Last week, The Weeknd let loose “Starboy”, the smooth Daft Punk-assisted title track of his upcoming third studio album. Today, its flashy official music video has surfaced online, as Complex points out.

    Like Weeknd visuals past, the Grant Singer-directed clip plays out like a mini thriller in which Abel Tesfaye is kidnapped by a mysterious masked assailant (his identity will throw you for a little loop). The French robots make an “appearance” … as a portrait on the wall of Tesfaye’s swanky home.

    Starboy the album, the follow-up to last year’s Beauty Behind the Madness, is due to hit stores on November 25th via XO/Republic Records.
