For the last several years, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has soundtracked runway shows for American fashion label Rag & Bone. As Pitchfork points out, Yorke’s latest contribution is a solo song called “Coloured Candy”, which was played during Rag & Bone’s 2017 Spring/Summer collection show. Listen to a stream on Rag & Bone’s website, or via the video below.
The electronic soundscape could be an outtake from The King of Limbs as it features lines from The Universal Sigh, the free newspaper that accompanied the release of Radiohead’s eighth studio album. The song also employs computerized vocals a la “Fitter Happier”.
The release of “Coloured Candy” follows Radiohead’s new, Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video for “Present Tense”.
