Three years on since his experimental rock outfit Man Man went on hiatus, madcap frontman Honus Honus (aka Ryan Kattner) is set to release his first-ever solo album. Dubbed Use Your Delusion, the album was announced alongside lead single “Oh No!” last month. Today, Honus Honus has shared another sample of the LP’s genre-defying experimentation with “The Stripper Has No Navel”.

“True love and the afterlife/ Two sirens you might never find/ So why waste your time/ Chasing a fantasy?” Honus and his chorus of electronic backup singers question on the track’s hook. Horns and punchy piano give the impression of neon signs indicating good times lining a city street, but the lyrics and electronic haunt of the whole thing makes it seem those signs are cracked and flickering, and it’s raining out. Take a listen below.
