Taylor Swift was not at all pleased when she heard Kanye West’s “Famous” lyrics about her, despite there being evidence that she herself had approved of them months prior. She’s even gone as far as to call the lines “character assassination”. One person who’s been really enjoying those lyrics lately though is Katy Perry, a longtime Swift enemy and the rumored ex-friend that inspired her “Bad Blood” single.
Yesterday, Perry attended a Kanye concert in Los Angeles to celebrate her 32nd birthday. She filmed herself dancing around in her chair to the music, but it was when those controversial “Famous” lines came up that she became extra animated. In the clip, you can see her eyes widen as Ye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.” She then smirks and brings her face close to the camera right as “Why? I made that bitch famous,” rings out in the arena, effectively agreeing with the rapper’s statement with a kind of #sorrynotsorry bravado. Touché.
