New trailer for The Great Wall premieres at Comic Con — watch

In the 15th century, the Great Wall of China faced a threat far greater than those stupid Mongolians. At least, that’s the premise of Zhang Yimou’s The Great Wall.

The big-budget blockbuster, co-financed by Chinese and American studios, marks Yimou’s first-ever English speaking film. Matt Damon and Willem Dafoe star alongside a number prominent Chinese actors.

The Great Wall will first premiere in China on December 16th before hitting American theaters on February 17th. In anticipation, a new trailer premiered at New York Comic Con on Saturday, which you can watch above.
