Mica Levi, the singer-songwriter behind Micachu and the Shapes, is scoring Pablo Larraín’s forthcoming biopic Jackie. Today, he’s shared a piece of the score entitled “Children”.
Consequence of Sound named Levi our Composer of the Year back in 2014, when she debuted with her original score for the sci-fi film Under the Skin. Needless to say, we’re excited to see how her compositions shape the atmosphere of Larraín’s film, which stars Natalie Portman as former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and takes place in the days following the 1963 assassination of her husband, John F. Kennedy.
“Children” is our first taste of the film’s soundtrack, which is out December 2nd via Milan Records. Listen in below.
