The latest episode of Austin City Limits features a soaring, four-song set from indie rock titans My Morning Jacket. Over the course of 30 minutes, they can be seen rolling out Circuital cuts “Victory Dance” and “Wonderful (The Way I Feel)”, as well as “Believe (Nobody Knows)”, a highlight from their most recent album, 2015’s The Waterfall. Make sure to tune in through the very end, as the closing moments feature magnetic frontman Jim James as he stalks about the stage while wearing an electronic sampler like a necklace. For MMJ, it marked their third ACL appearance in eleven years, following tapings in 2005 and 2008.

In a post-performance interview, James notes that he’s already begun writing songs for the next MMJ album, which could be recorded “sometime in the next year or so.” (For reference, it appears the episode was filmed sometime in early May.) He also says that the band was supposed to get together for sessions, but because of Prince’s passing, they decided to spend that time paying tribute to the funk icon.
