Q-Tip has made it clear that A Tribe Called Quest released its final record with the triumphant We Got it From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, but the seminal rap group is making its final go-around count. A world tour appears to be in the works, and their celebratory, energetic Saturday Night Live appearance was one of the top late night performances of 2016.
Last night, Tribe’s continued the strong momentum as they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform “Dis Generation.” Joined onstage by honorary group member Busta Rhymes, Tip and Jarobi moved the crowd with enthusiasm and paid tribute to the late Phife Dawg by pointing to the sky as his verse played through the speakers.
