    The Tonight Show played host to not one, but two musicians on Tuesday, Janelle Monáe and Sylvan Esso. Though, only one of them performed.

    Monáe, who stars in the new biographical drama Hidden Figures, recounted the time she was fired from Office Depot in a brief interview with Jimmy Fallon. (And yes, those are googly eyes in her hair!) Watch that segment up above.

    Later, the synthpop duo of Nick Sanborn and Amelia Meath served as the episode’s proper musical guest by rolling out a percolating rendition of new single “Radio”. Sylvan Esso’s sophomore album is expected next year. Check out the performance below.
