Ozzy Osbourne admits he’s not actually a sex addict, just a typical rock star

"I'm in a fucking rock band, aren't I?"

Last summer, Ozzy Osbourne came clean regarding his split with his wife of 33 years, Sharon Osbourne, admitting that a battle with sex addiction was to blame for his affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. A statement from the metal icon’s reps claimed he’d been receiving “intense therapy” and was “mortified at what his behavior has done to his family.”

Now, less than a year later, Ozzy is walking back those comments, saying his cheating ways simply come with the territory of being a rock star. (Ugh, please cue the eye-rolls.) “I’m in a fucking rock band, aren’t I?” he told the Times of London recently (via The Daily Beast). “There have always been groupies. I just got caught, didn’t I?”

He then went on to play the ole “every marriage has its flaws” card. “It was a bump in the road,” Ozzy added. “I bet your marriage has bumps in the road too an’ all. In any marriage you grow apart if you don’t spend enough time together, and that was part of the problem. I don’t think I’m a fucking sex addict.”

In October, the separated couple were spotted getting cozy, with Sharon saying that things were “back on track” again — though she weirdly still referred to Ozzy as a “dirty dog.” We’ll see if she, too, will walk back her willingness to reconcile.
