Those of us in the northern part of the country still have to wait another four or five months before we can really start thinking about festival season. Down in sunny Miami, however, even January is a good time to party. That’s why POPLIFE is throwing their new F+M Festival right one the sandy shores of North Beach later this month on the 28th and 29th.
The two-day event will feature an array of indie, electronic, and hip-hop acts of both international and local acclaim. Live sets from Hot Chip and Bomba Estéreo top a bill that also features Ghostface Killah, Nosaj Thing, Slow Magic, Los Amigos Invisibles, Jacuzzi Boys, Amtrac, Millionyoung, Native Youth, and more.
But that just covers the M in F+M; the F represents the incredible food scene of the Magic City. Some of the cities’ top restaurants and bars, including Ariete, Better Days, Craft Social Club, Employees Only, Gio’s Chicken, Gramps, K Ramen, and Pizza Tropical, will all be serving upscale festival delectables in the Culinary & Cocktail Village.
