If you’re looking for a way to vulgarly display your love for Pantera’s Vulgar Display of Power, look no further than a new piece of 3D vinyl artwork from Knucklebonz that turns the iconic metal sleeve into a textured piece of wall art.
The band unveiled the limited memorabilia via an Instagram video (see below), following the recent announcement of four collectible statues of the band’s classic members. The sculptured vinyl album cover features the epic Vulgar Display of Power image of a dude getting punched in the face, with every crease of his distorted face getting the 3D treatment.
The artwork is limited to 1,992 handcrafted pieces and retails for $199.00, and it’s truly a striking (and slightly terrifying) object. The piece is 12″ x 12″ in dimension and comes with stand or can be mounted on a wall. The company has made over a dozen 3D renderings of classic hard rock and metal albums, from Ozzy Osbourne’s Diary of a Madman to KISS’ Destroyer and more.
Knucklebonz has honed on Pantera collectors lately, having recently announced the aforementioned set of Rock Iconz 1/9th scale figures of Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell, Rex Brown, and Vinnie Paul. Both the 3D vinyl and figures are in production and due for release this fall with pre-orders and payment plans available from Knucklebonz’ site here.
