HBO Max is bringing everything to the table in October.
When it comes to the spooky, subscribers can revisit George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead, the terrifying remake of The Hills Have Eyes, David Fincher’s unnerving thriller Seven, and some classics in The Curse of Frankenstein and The Mummy.
There are no shortage of legitimate events, either. Spike Lee will see the premiere of his critical smash concert film David Byrne’s American Utopia, while the cast of The West Wing will reunite 17 years later for a special presentation of “Hartsfield’s Landing”.
Of course, we have to remember, it’s not TV, it’s HBO, and every weekend subscribers get new premieres of the biggest flicks from the silver screen. This month brings Cats (!), Charm City Kings, Emma, and last year’s polarizing Black Christmas remake.
