Boris are premiering a live video of “Loveless,” a track from the band’s 2020 album NO, exclusively via Heavy Consequence. The footage originates from the band’s recent “NO: World Tour in Your Head” livestream.
The immersive clip was shot using a 360-degree camera, giving viewers a front row seat for the epic performance. “Loveless” is a highlight from NO, and sounds massive in the live setting. Copious fog shrouds the band members and creates an otherworldly visual effect.
What was initially Boris’ semi-private release show for NO — filmed during pandemic lockdowns — became the subject for the “NO: World Tour in Your Head” livestream. Fans were able to witness the virtual concert from all angles.
Boris are currently readying vinyl reissues NO and of 2000’s Flood via Third Man Records, continuing the band’s partnership and reissue campaign with the label. Flood has never been released on vinyl before, and NO had only seen a pricey Japanese-only import release on LP. The latter will also be available digitally after being exclusive to Boris’ Bandcamp.
“Last year, during the Coronavirus pandemic, we released an album [NO] totally DIY,” the band told Heavy Consequence. “We will now be delivering the album to the whole world — digitally and on LP format — widely available for the first time with support from Third Man Records. As the world is constantly changing, we hope that our (and your) sincere excitement will reach as many people in the midst of the chaos of this era.”
