Chris Coplan

Chris Coplan joined Consequence of Sound in July 2009, serving as both news editor and a senior staff writer. In addition to his work with CoS, his writing has appeared in TIME, Complex, and several publications around the Southwest. Originally hailing from Phoenix, Chris moved to Austin, Texas in January 2014, working to expand into another local office/market. From Austin, he later joined several other staff members in Chicago around late 2014. He enjoys collecting classic rock records, yelling at his Xbox, and has been known to indulge in the occasional Icee. He lives with his best buddy, a lab mix name Lord Rupert Giles.
