The Maha Music Festival is owned and operated by YFC, Inc., a volunteer-operated, nonprofit organization formed in 2008 to create a music festival to benefit the greater Omaha-Council Bluffs area. Despite Omaha?s recognition as an indie hotbed, no one had successfully launched and consistently executed an indie music festival of the size and scope of Maha. Maha organizers sought to fill this void, and Omahans embraced their efforts.
