Once again, we’ve thrown on our favorite velvet robe, turned up the fire, and are here to regale you with stories of the greatest and most classic albums of all time. It’s a fresh, new perspective on why these albums are filed under “M” for masterpiece.
Following the release of their 1979 smash, Highway To Hell, AC/DC were primed to continue their upward ascent. But tragedy struck the band when lead singer, Bon Scott, passed away after a long night of heavy drinking causing him to choke on his own vomit. Instead of calling it quits, the remaining members decided to soldier on and recruited vocalist Brian Johnson to take Scott’s place. After seven weeks of recording, Back In Black was released in 1980 as a tribute to Scott and would go on to become the second highest selling album of all time.
