Good evening and welcome to a brand new segment on Consequence of Sound called Masterpiece Reviews. We’re not always classy here in Chicago, but this time around, we’ve thrown on the velvet and turned up the fire in order to regale you with stories of the greatest and most classic albums of all time. As an added incentive, we also offer a fresh, new perspective on why these albums are filed under “M” for masterpiece.
For our debut episode, CoS Staff Writer Justin Gerber tackles what many consider to be The Beatles’ strongest album, 1967’s Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Think you’re a suave music buff, too? Let us know your own thoughts and whether or not you agree in the comment section down below.
