Welcome to Treehouse Sessions: twice a month, we present an exclusive live performances recorded directly to analog at Chicago’s Treehouse Studios.
Today’s episode, however, is extra special as it features rising Chicago punk rock band The Orwells performing in the dining room of Strat’s restaurant in Villa Park, Illinois. (If you’re wondering the connection, a few of the band members used to work there.) They also get comfortable on top of the Treehouse van and discuss what it means to be a rock star, whether or not rock stars still exist, and their plans heading into 2015.
